There are two things that you seemed to miss in my last article: One is that the reason I am pointing these things out is because I totally love these guys! They’re classy. I am speaking up because I don’t want to see them fall with the other musicians and singers that have fallen flat on their faces. Second, the boys are going downhill.

One Jonas fan told me after reading my previous article, “You don’t have very much faith in our boys do you?” Well the answer is, “No, I don’t have any faith in them at all.” They are human beings just like me--and you. My only faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ, and He does have the power to bring Kevin, Joe and Nick through this fight, but it will not be by the guys’ strength, only God’s.

I want you to imagine something with me for a minute: You walk into a store; you have never heard the name, “Jonas” in your life! You walk up to the rack of magazines; your eyes are sweeping over all of them when the new Rolling Stone Magazine catches your eyes. What do you notice first? You notice Joe’s sensual pose, and Kevin’s hand gripping Joe’s shirt. The first thing you are going to think is that these are bad boys. What does that tell you?

While everyone is complaining at Miley Cyrus, it seems they are overlooking JB, letting the little steps go unnoticed, because after all, they are just too cute to criticize, right? Wrong. Those “little steps” are adding up. Everyone is focused mainly on Miley right now and since she is a step ahead of the Jonas’s, as far as clothes removal, everyone is looking at JB and saying, “It could get worse.” Well yeah, it could get worse! That’s exactly why I’m saying something. It has got to stop now! It’s easier to put out a candle, than it is to put out a building that is in flames.

Yet another person told me, “Well at least they still have their shirts on.” Really? When you look at the Rolling Stone picture, which brother is getting into it the most? Joe. That isn’t the only thing he’s been getting into lately; he’s also been publishing pictures of himself without his shirt on. They are sensual. You may think I’m going over the top, but why not stop it now? It’s the pretty blindfolds placed over your eyes, which is making you think these pictures are acceptable.

Look at history. It happens over and over and over again. The most modern day example is Miley Cyrus. You watch recent interviews and she was saying she wouldn’t go down that road, but where is she now? Taking very inviting and sensual pictures of herself. Do you not see that the Jonas Brothers seem to be headed right down that road too?

Kevin, Joe and Nick have a wonderful family that is supporting them, and I know that helps. But they still appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone with a very bad boy looking picture, and Joe is still taking pictures of himself with his shirt off. All of these are only inviting and encouraging more. Do you see it yet?

Many messages I have gotten have been telling me that as far as the Rolling Stone picture goes, that fits the magazine, it wouldn’t have been acceptable to put just a great picture of the guys on there, they needed a sensual one. Well if that is so, then when they got the call asking for them to be on the cover of Rolling Stone, maybe the answer should have been, “No.”

Some have also spoken of how the Jonas boys didn’t actually pick which picture went on the cover, they just posed for it. Well guess what? That picture is their default picture on MySpace, their picture on Facebook, they sent an e-mail out about it and of course posted a blog about it! And that’s not including the excitement you can see in them when you watch the video from the photo shoot.

And you’re telling me the devil isn’t after the Jonas Brothers?

Anyone committed to purity and faith is an enemy of the devil. That makes the Jonas Brothers perfect targets. They are young, famous, handsome and have thousands of people who will love them even if they really were bad boys. If the devil can get even one of those young Jonas men to fall, what will that tell all those people who speak against purity, or have looked highly on purity because of the Jonas Brothers?

Where are those three classy guys with amazing talents? God, please bring them back; bring them back hastily.
